"1 1/4 Grapefruits and an Orange" Petite watercolors, signed & matted.

When they predicted a hard freeze for all of Central Florida this week, we decided to harvest as many oranges as possible. And salvaged the neighbor's grapefruit as well (with their permission of course!) Can you believe it might drop to 20 degrees tonight? So, what should we do with 50 or so oranges?...If we each ate 2 oranges a day, for 25 days, I think I'd have a tummy ache.  Or we could make a lot of fresh squeezed OJ and freeze it all, or give them to the neighbors (although many of them have their own trees) In any event, I know I'll be painting oranges for a while, and maybe I'll learn to juggle too. Hope you like these little watercolors of the fruit that was saved from the Citrus Freeze of 2010.

'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.'Jn1:1-5
