Cabbage flowers and weeds, oil on panel, 4.5" X 5"

Soft pastels in an aluminum can.  My pretty purple cabbage  that we planted in the fall has lasted bravely through the cold winter and is now going to seed. But before it completes this process, little yellow flowers are popping out all over above the fading purple cabbage leaves. I picked off a little stalk and placed it into the wildflower container.
